COSAC’s Lead Trainer Selected as Nominee to SDC-Bangladesh Board by SDC-UK Board

We are proud to share that Engr. Fakhrul Islam CCol ASDC, Lead Trainer at Color Science Academy (COSAC), has been officially nominated by the UK Board of the Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC) to serve on the newly formed SDC Bangladesh Region Board.

This significant appointment reflects Engr. Fakhrul’s global recognition as a leader in colour science, sustainable dyeing, and digital colour management. His nomination symbolizes an important bridge between international colour expertise and Bangladesh’s rapidly growing textile industry.

📌 About the SDC-Bangladesh Board Formation

The Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC) – the only global professional body dedicated to colour science and technology – has launched the SDC Bangladesh Region Board to promote knowledge sharing, industry-academia collaboration, and sustainable innovation in textile coloration.

The formation of this national board is a milestone in Bangladesh’s textile and fashion development. It aims to empower professionals through education, research, and forward-thinking practices in dyeing and coloration.
